Madurai Malli Fragrances (MMF) is situated in a serene environment with abundant greenery and surrounded by mountains. The soil is rich in sulphur, reddish in colour and laterite in nature. This is very conducive to the cultivation of Jasmine Sambac and is the secret behind its exotic fragrance. We specialise in natural fragrances and flavours.

We offer the finest natural quality concretes of Jasmine Sambac, Jasmine Grandiflorum, Tuberose as well as other plant based extracts and flavours.

These heady fragrances are made to the finest quality standards and much sought after by the perfume and flavours industries.

We have been running educational institutions since 1947 and our charities provide education and medical assistance for those in need.

MMF uses advanced machineries with latest state of the art technologies. Our production capacity is 4 tons a day. Our product range comprises of concretes from Jasmine Sambac, Jasmine Grandiflorum, and Tuberose.
Our raw material- jasmine sambac, jasmine grandiflorum and tuberose are responsibly and ethically sourced from local and small holder farmers.

About MMF Founder

Uma Kannan has a doctorate in socio-cultural anthropology. She is passionate about Indian art culture and flora. She is the founder of Madurai Malli Fragrances, a perfume extraction business that aims to bring farm direct, high quality fragrances to the market. Uma is actively engaged in several innovative educational, social and philanthropic initiatives that address the challenges faced by rural artisans, disadvantaged women and children. Her interests span several areas, including writing, mentoring students, creative design and developing floral fragrances. She is also actively involved in the revitalisation and preservation of traditional Indian arts and skills, and in helping artisans create innovative design concepts to sustain their traditional occupations and earn sustainable incomes. She is the author of Madurai Malligai, a first of its kind book that celebrates Madurai and its jasmine.
