The spirit of International Rural Women’s Day was celebrated with enthusiasm at Seethapuram Government School, bringing together 45 women from the local community.
The event opened with an inspiring talk on the vital role of rural women in shaping families, communities, and the future of sustainable livelihoods. Conversations flowed over tea and biscuits, creating a space for shared stories and laughter.
A flower-tying session using rose, jasmine sambac, and jasmine grandiflorum added a touch of fragrance and tradition to the day — celebrating the artistry and heritage rooted in rural life. The program beautifully blended learning, connection, and culture, honoring the strength and grace of women in every petal tied.
